Arabic dance, also known as bellydance or Raqs Sharqi, is a discipline that combines technique, musicality, expression, and connection with the body. Through movements, isolations, travelling steps, and different rhythms, each dancer learns to know her body and use it as a tool for expression.
At Luz de Luna, Arabic dance is lived as a path of learning and discovery. We work on technique and interpretation, but also on musicality, stage presence, and the ability to tell something through movement.
You don't need any previous experience to begin. You only need the desire to learn, to move, and to discover everything this dance can teach you.
