There are moments when a group class gives us everything we need to learn and enjoy dance, and others when we want to slow down a little, work on something specific, or have closer, more personal guidance.
One-on-one sessions exist for that: to create a fully personalized space where we can focus on what you want to achieve. It doesn't matter if you're just starting out, if you've been dancing for a while, or if you have a very specific goal; every session starts from your needs, your experience, and the point of the journey where you find yourself.
Technical refinement
Sometimes there's a movement we want to understand better, a technique we want to master, or we simply feel ready to take the next step.
In a one-on-one session we can dedicate the time needed to work on whatever you want to strengthen: technique, posture, isolations, musicality, travel steps, turns, interpretation, the use of props like fans or veil, or any other aspect of your dance you'd like to take to a new level.
Personalized attention makes it possible to notice those small details, resolve doubts, and find tools that fit your own body and your own way of learning.
Because moving forward doesn't always mean learning something new. Sometimes it means pausing on what we already do and discovering everything we can still develop.
Competition preparation
If you have an upcoming competition, we can support you through the whole preparation process. From choosing and analyzing the music to building or refining your choreography, we'll work on technique, musicality, interpretation, and stage presence, so you can step onto the stage with greater clarity, confidence, and certainty in what you want to communicate.
Through one-on-one sessions, we've supported our dancers through different competitive processes, from those facing a competition stage for the first time to those looking to refine their proposal, move up a category, or keep growing as performers. Some of them have earned first places and recognitions in Arabic dance competitions, turning each process into an opportunity to learn, grow, and discover new possibilities.
Evelyn's experience as a competitor and teacher is also part of this support, paying attention to both the artistic preparation and the small technical and performance details that can make a difference on stage.
Behind every recognition there's a process. And at Luz de Luna we're moved to have accompanied our dancers on the path that led them to those stages, celebrating their progress, their challenges, and also their achievements.
Where can a one-on-one session take you? To your first competition, to that stage you've been wanting to step onto, to a new category, to an audition, to a special performance… or simply to feeling like you're dancing in a way you hadn't imagined before.
Choreography for special moments
And then there are also those moments we want to remember forever.
A quinceañera, a wedding, a performance, a special event, or simply the wish to prepare something meaningful to you can become the perfect reason to dance.
In a one-on-one session we can create a choreography designed specially for that occasion, taking into account your experience, the music you want to use, the space, and above all, what you want to express.
You don't need to be a dancer to do this. We can start from zero, learn step by step, and build together a choreography you feel comfortable with, enjoy the process of, and that makes that moment truly your own.
Your process, your pace
No two processes are the same, because no two people dance in the same way.
One-on-one is a space to listen to you, understand what you're looking for, and support you in achieving it. Maybe you want to improve a technique, prepare for a stage, fulfill a dream you've been imagining for a while, or simply give yourself the chance to learn something new.
Whatever your reason, we'll be glad to accompany you as you dance toward it.
